iam8bit is usually known for their video game soundtrack releases, but they continue to expand into the realm of TV and movies. Their newly announced releases of the Animaniacs soundtracks on vinyl will bring both the original classic 1993 series and the 2020 reboot to the analog realm.
Animaniacs was executive produced by legendary director Steven Spielberg and featured slapstick comedy with catchy tunes and witty pop cultural references to create one of the most beloved animated series of the 1990s. The 2020 Animaniacs reboot brought the same formula to the modern era, with a new slate of songs performed by the Warner siblings.
The Original Series Soundtrack will feature 17 classic songs remastered for the first time ever on vinyl. The 2020 Series Soundtrack will feature songs from Seasons 1-3 across 2LP pressed on translucent black vinyl. Both albums are available to pre-order now from iam8bit and are expected to ship in Q3 2024.
