As part of a string of new releases slated to come out later this year, French label Kana Music has announced the Dragon Ball Z: Best Collection on vinyl. This album features some of the most iconic themes and tracks from the legendary anime.
Dragon Ball Z was produced by Toei Animation and originally aired in Japan on Fuji TV from 1989 to 1996. The series follows the adventures of Goku, a young Saiyan warrior who is tasked with protecting Earth from a variety of threats, including aliens, androids, and even gods.
Dragon Ball Z is one of the most popular anime series of all time, and it has helped to popularize anime in the West. The Dragon Ball Z soundtrack was composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi, and the series’ opening theme song, “Cha-La Head-Cha-La,” is one of the most recognizable anime songs of all time. While the series soundtrack contains a massive library of theme songs and background tracks, Kana Music seems to have picked some of the most iconic songs to include on this 2LP album.
