Video Game Music record label GameChops is organizing a crowdfunding effort to press Chillcraft, lo-fi arrangements of classic Minecraft tracks, on vinyl. The thirteen tracks are composed by Helynt, an Italian producer that combines electronic sounds with the laid-back vibes of lo-fi.
Backers can choose between two tiers of support. For $29 backers will receive a 12″ LP and a digital download of the album available through Bandcamp. Backers who pledge $199 or more will also receive a Helynt autograph in addition to the 12″ LP and digital download. Your funds will also help support future GameChop vinyl releases. As of writing the crowdfunding is 96% complete so it seems likely that we will eventually see this album available on wax in the near future.
